Altoona is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Altoona is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. We went with my son’s daycare for a field trip and it was so cute and everyone was so welcoming. There is so much for the kids to enjoy and shopping and coffee and yummy food for parents to enjoy while the kids play!

I really enjoy bringing my daughter to Home & Harvest; she always has a good time whenever she goes. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful; they’re always checking in to make everything is going well. The play areas are always clean and there are lots of options for kids to play. The pets are also a fun touch! I really enjoy that there is separate area for 3 and under.

☕️🐓Home & Harvest Play Café is one of those places that just gets family life. If you’re looking for a spot where the kids can play, create, and explore while you enjoy a great cup of coffee, add this one to your list. What we loved: ✨ A dedicated play area for little ones under 3 ✨ A larger play space for bigger kids ✨ Delicious food ✨ Coffee flights (a must!) ✨ Amazing smoothies — the pineapple smoothie was a huge hit 🍍 ✨ A beautiful mercantile filled with gifts, local products, and unique finds ✨ A creative Makery where kids can make and create ✨ Story times and coloring pages that add even more fun for little visitors As a mom, I love places that feel thoughtfully designed for the whole family. The kids had plenty to do, the atmosphere was welcoming, and there were so many little details that made it feel special. Whether you’re meeting a friend, looking for a rainy-day activity, need a place to burn some energy, or just want a fun family outing, Home & Harvest is worth the visit.

I have kids ranging from 7 to 3. They all loved it here. The different rooms were very entertaining for my kids. They have chairs you can sit to watch them play. The coffee was delicious. They have activities for adults too! We will be back.

10/10! We had the best time. This place was so calm and welcoming despite kids playing. As a mom, I felt so comfortable here. The special drinks were great and so were the pretzels bites. Prices are more than respectable.
